Why Men dont get women: non-verbal signals

IT caught me by suprise that almost 80% of the time women communicate non-verbaly, and this might be the reason most men never really get to understand them.
So guys tell me how easy is it for men to catch those little signs that come unanounced. Do you suppose its okay for women to assume that men will pick the signs?
