How to pay your electricity bill by M-Pesa

Paying for your electricity bill is made easy with M-Pesa

The steps below will ensure your power is on in a few minutes

1. Go to the M-Pesa menu on your phone
2. Scroll to Lipa Na M-Pesa
3. Go to pay bill
4. Enter business number as  888888
5. Enter the KPLC account number the way it appears on your bill .ie  7787767-01
6. Enter the amount you want to pay
7. Then enter m-pesa pin
8. Click Ok on the pop up to pay your bill
