How to Pay for Your Nairobi City County Land Rates

Collection of land rates is one of the many ways a county or city uses to collect revenue for development purposes. The city of Nairobi was not left out of this too. They collect land rates on an annual basis in selected areas within the county. It should be noted though that not all landowners in the city are required to pay rates.

Land or plot owners are required to submit their Nairobi City Land rates before the close of the financial year which fall at the end of June. Failure to submit your rates in time results in penalties. You are better placed if you pay your rates in town

Why has NCC stopped sending land rates payment demand notes to property owners in Nairobi County? How can I obtain mine? If the county government is unable to send them via e-mail, then they should revert to P.O. Box mail address.
