How to Open a KCB M-Banki Account
Banks are going digital and KCB is with it too.
What you need
- A mobile phone with an active Safaricom line
- Your ID number
- Some cash in your M-Pesa
- At least 50 shillings airtime in your line to enable the USSD service
The procedure
To access the new KCB phone banking follow the procedure bellow:-
- Go to MPESA Menu,
- Payment Services, Pay Bill Option,
- Enter Business No. 522522
- On Enter Account, type the word ID plus your National ID Number e.g. ID23456789( no space between )
- Insert amount to deposit, then your MPESA PIN
- You will receive two SMS’s. One with your M-Benki Account Number and the other with your User ID and PIN.
- Once the account is open you can ENJOY KCB MOBI through the USSD code *522#
- Use the user ID and pin sent to your through SMS to enjoy the service.
