How To Have a Healthy Diet Without Skipping Meals
Skipping meals – while this might help you lose weight initially, it’s bound to fail in the long run. Skipping meals makes you feel very hungry later in the day causing you to overeat during your next meal. After about a month of eating a normal breakfast, lunch and a light dinner your body will adjust. Most people eat three regular meals and one snack a day. The three meals should be about the same size and should be low in fat.
Eat more greens
The best way to fill up a diet plate is to start with a generous portion of greens. They add volume to the meal without adding many calories. Darker greens and lettuces are wise choices as they pack extra vitamins and minerals.
Eat breakfast: going without a morning meal can trick the body into thinking it is starving, which makes it hold on to fat or cause you to eat more during the day. To keep your metabolism high and blood sugar levels steady, eat breakfast within 45 minutes of waking up.
