How to apply for a Visa to South Africa

The South African visa is applied through VFS Kenya. In South Africa, visas for tourism and for visiting family and friends are issued for a maximum of three months.

Kenya passport holders and not charged visa fees for tourist visa, however there is a service charge of Ksh 5850 per applicant.

Requirements for South African visa

• Passport (original and copy of the bio data page)
• Complete and Signed Visa Application Form in Black ink only.
• One recent colour passport size photograph (35mm * 45mm) (not more than 12 months old).
• Supporting documentation as per the relevant checklist (bank statement, ticket booking, invitation / hotel booking. You can book Johannesburg hotels orCape town hotels. ) and pay later once the visa is out/ pay on arrival..
• Yellow Fever card ( original and copy)
