How to get a USA visa for Kenyan passport holders
The United States of America (USA) embassy in Nairobi has simplified the visa application process for Kenyan applicants. You can now walk to any cyber cafe fill our the application form, pay the visa fee via Mpesa (or Post bank) and book an appointment for the interview.
If your application is successful, your passport and other documents will be send to a DHL office of your choice for you to pick up. This means a Mombasa resident who needs a US visa will only travel once to Nairobi for the interview.
Step 1: Fill the DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv
Step 2: Pay the visa fees by signing up at http://usvisa-info.com/en-KE/selfservice/login and following the instructions.
Step 3: After paying, book an appointment.
